Brooklyn Exposed is providing details on how you can make our hood all pretty, bring peace to the community versus fun war and, more importantly, see Fleet Foxes for free.
Burned Green – a site listing Brooklyn volunteering opportunities – and Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn are asking folks to spare one hour cleaning up the streets of the Burg in exchange for free admission to the 2011 Williamsburg Waterfront Concert Series. Select volunteers will be split into groups of four and provided with gloves, trash bags and trash grabbers to clean up North 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th streets between Kent and Bedford Avenue.
Volunteers can choose to:
1) Watch the show(s) of your choice and do an hour of cleaning beginning at 9:45pm ; OR
2) Clean up after any one concert in exchange to see a future show(s) of your choice.
